Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how information is processed when you use the “LAPS Mobile” mobile application (the “Application”).

1. Purpose of the Application

The Application is designed for the secure retrieval and display of passwords managed by Windows/MS LAPS provided by WebLAPS server owner to an authorized user.

2. Data We Process

Depending on the implemented functionality, the Application may process the following categories of data:

• passwords and credentials received from the server for display to the user;
• a user, device, or account identifier where it is required for authentication, authorization, or credential delivery;
• technical operation logs and error information, if such collection is implemented in the Application;
• Firebase technical identifiers, including the Firebase Installation ID and FCM token, required to deliver push notifications.

Passwords and credentials are not transmitted through Firebase Cloud Messaging and are not included in push notification content.

3. Push Notifications and Firebase

The Application uses Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM), a Google service, to deliver technical push notifications. Such notifications may indicate, for example, that new data is available, information needs updating, or a request status has changed.

For notification delivery, Firebase may process a technical installation identifier and a notification token. This data is used solely for the operation of the notification mechanism. The Developer does not use it for advertising, profiling, or selling data.

You may disable push notifications in the Android system settings for the Application.

4. Purposes of Data Processing

Data is processed solely to operate the Application, authenticate and authorize users, retrieve and display credentials provided by the server, deliver push notifications, maintain security, and resolve technical errors.

5. Protection of Credentials

Neither the Developer nor any other third party has access to passwords transmitted between the Application and the server. Passwords are delivered only to the authorized user through a protected communication channel and are not available to Firebase, Google, push notification providers, or other third parties.

The Developer takes reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect processed information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Data is transmitted between the Application and the server through a secure HTTPS/TLS connection.

Passwords, one-time codes, secret keys, and complete credentials are not transmitted in push notifications.

6. Disclosure to Third Parties

Technical data required to deliver push notifications may be transmitted to Google through Firebase Cloud Messaging. The processing of such information is governed by Google’s and Firebase’s applicable documentation and policies.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

Data retention periods are determined by the purpose of processing, server infrastructure settings, and applicable legal requirements. You may request deletion of data controlled by the Developer by contacting contact@weblaps.pro.

To process a request, please provide information sufficient to identify your account without sending your password in the request. Deletion may be limited where retention is necessary to comply with law or contractual obligations, or to maintain the security of the service.

8. Children and Age Audience

The Application has a 3+ content rating because it does not contain sexual content, violence, profanity, gambling, or other content unsuitable for children.

A content rating does not mean that the Application is intended for independent use by children. The Application is intended for users who have been lawfully authorized by the service owner to receive and use credentials.

9. Changes to This Policy

The Developer may update this Privacy Policy. The current version will be published at: https://weblaps.pro/privacy-policy.html. Your continued use of the Application after changes are published indicates that you have reviewed the updated Policy.
